Bolton Trampoline Club – 3rd Annual Tariff Competition

This was held in the Academy on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th November. The Sports Centre staff prepared the gym with trampolines at the ready and the Conference Centre was ready for the Presentations. Competitors with their families and friends, and judges arrived making sure the car park was full to bursting point. The kit shop was set up, hospitality staff organised and the event began. An exciting weekend with boys and girls of all ages from a number of North West clubs looking super smart in their kit and ready to excel.

Each year trampoline clubs hold tariff competitions to support and encourage their members to move up through the levels of difficulty, learning new skills and making progress. The tariff (or difficulty as it is also know) is awarded to trampoline skills based on a standard marking system.

We wish to congratulate 2 of our students who were exceptionally successful – Kyle Boardman who won a Team Gold and Individual Bronze medal and Lara Perrigo who came 3rd in her Tariff Class. Mrs Woodman – our  Sixth Form Ambassador was also hard at work judging the competitions, she commented ‘how lovely it was to see the young people improving and raising their tariff scores’ and she ‘was always aware of how quickly the routines were over and she needed not to miss a single move’

Again the event ran very smoothly, a huge team effort between Bolton Trampoline Club, Miss Rushton, the Sports Centre Staff and our Hospitality team.
