Bethany's Legacy

Bethany Weall, leaver in Year 11 this time, spent time with me over a few session this last half term, looking at what ‘legacy’ she wanted to leave at BSCA. Off the back of it, she wanted to do a kind act for the teachers to say thank you, for her Year 11 peers to be encouraged for their future, and for the upcoming new Year 7s to be helped have the best start they can.

• For the teachers, she chose to put envelopes on their cars with sunflower seeds in, saying ‘thank you for... helping us grow’.

• For the year 11’s she printed an encouraging verse for each of their future, laminated it, and popped a magnet on the back so they could keep it somewhere safe as a reminder. It was Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will complete it”.

• Then she is currently worker on a video to show the new year 7’s, giving tips for how to make the most out of high school.

Isn't she amazing, I'm going to plant my seeds this weekend with my children!
