On Friday 4th December we held a 1950’s day to promote and raise money for the school show, ‘Grease’. All lessons incorporated a 1950’s theme, the restaurant was transformed into a 1950’s diner and the staff and cast of the show sprang a Grease “flash mob” on students at lunchtime!

Lots of staff and students wore 1950’s fancy dress including especially produced ‘Pink Ladies’ or ‘T-Bird’ T-shirts – sold to raise funds for the show.

Our production takes place at 6.30pm on Tuesday 8th, Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th of December. Tickets are on sale from the Academy reception priced £3 for children, £4 for adults or £9 for a family ticket which admits 2 adults and 2 children.

Tickets are going like “greased lightening” so don’t be disappointed – buy yours now! You can see clips from the flash mob on our Facebook and Twitter pages as well as more pictures from the day.
