Curtis Jobling visits

Posted on 4th March, 2016

Curtis Jobling delighted Years 5 and 6 this morning not only talking about the books he writes, but sketching his book characters as he went along and reading out loud from his 'Wereworld' series books.  Even the adults in the room were mesmerised and you couldn't even hear a pin drop. At question time Curtis had to think hard to answer some of the challenging questions they asked. He gave them hints and tips to help with their writing and encouraged them to be 'planners' not 'panters'.

The students posed with Curtis as he signed copies of the books they had bought whilst Ebb and Flow bookshop were on hand with extra copies.

This afternoon Curtis will be with Year 7 inspiring them.
