Drew tests out his ambitions

Posted on 15th November, 2017

Drew Bromiley Year 11 ventured out of the Academy last week taking another step to achieving his ambition

Drew went off to Myerscough College near Preston to look round and see if he felt the college could offer what he is looking for. Drew is an absolutely huge animal lover and his goal is to work in a zoo looking after the animals.

He not only toured the classrooms but saw the animals on site and learnt that the course he is interested in teaches all about developing a range of skills and actually caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, farm animals, reptiles and amphibians and many invertebrates.

As part of the tour Drew saw the living accommodation and quickly decided he would love to live in so he could spend more of his time working and learning about the animals. Drew would like to work his way up through the courses to achieve his ambition. His next step is to complete his application from.

We would like to wish Drew every success in securing his place for September 2017 and Mrs Lashbrook for making it happen.
