BSCA Communication - be prepared

It is vitally important that home and school work together, so we will do our upmost to keep you up to date with as much information as possible.

To enable us to do this please make sure we have your most up to date contact number and email address. To do this let us know via:

  • Our School Gateway - keeps you up to date with your child's school life wherever you are, including end of term reports. It also allows you to submit changes to your details in a quick and secure way.
  • Call us on 01204 332 533 during office opening times.

We also have the ScoPay app - a contactless way for Parents and Carers to pay for lunches, revision guides, trips and clubs.

Messages for Primary 

Class Dojo

Messages to parents about day to day school life will come via the Class Dojo App. New parents are connected automatically after their child's first day in school. If this hasn't happened, please see Richard in Primary Reception to find out how to get set up.

Back to School - Secondary information

Dear Parent / Carer

Just a few reminders before we welcome our students back to school next week:

BSCA Secondary - Please remember our school rules:

  • Earrings are limited to one pair of plain studs only.
  • No other jewellery, including rings or facial piercings.
  • No makeup, including false eyelashes, nail varnish or false nails - please ensure these are removed before returning to school.
  • Hair should be appropriately styled, including no unnatural hair colours.
  • If wearing a plain pleated skirt it is now mandatory to wear black opaque tights are mandatory.

Please support your child to comply with this policy, non-compliance is part of the Behaviour Policy and will have consequences.

 

BSCA Secondary Uniform for September 2024

Ties: Each year group has a different colour stripped tie, and they will keep the same tie colour for their journey throughout BSCA until they leave. This year the colours are as follows:

  • Year 7 -  Red (will be given a tie on their first day)
  • Year 8 - Blue
  • Year 9 - Green
  • Year 10 - Silver
  • Year 11 - Yellow
