Welcome to Primary
Bolton St Catherine's Academy places the CARE and ACHIEVEMENT of pupils at the centre of its daily routine.
Children can join us from their third Birthday in our Nursery provision. Our Nursery has a fully qualified teacher working with the children in addition to staff with a wider range of education and childcare qualifications and experience.
In the academic year of their fifth birthday children join our Reception class(es). Children who have been in our Nursery and children joining us are welcomed into the Academy by our experienced staff to give them best foundation to their school careers and life!
All Bolton St Catherine's staff, teaching and non-teaching, are dedicated to assisting in your children's development to the best of their ability. We are also committed to working alongside parents to ensure that every child gets the best possible start to their education. Our doors are always open to you and your family so that we can more easily and efficiently work together for the benefit of your child and all those in our school.
While we celebrate all our children's gifts and talents and recognise the growth they make as an individual the school is proud that our Key Stage 2 SATs results have also consistently been above the national average.
As a Church of England Sponsored Academy, we enjoy close links with Christ's Church, Harwood and New Life Community Church at The Mosley Arms. We are delighted to work and learn alongside other community churches who frequently join us to lead worship in school through the year, and we regularly hold services in Church to which you are always welcome to attend.
