Progress Evenings
At Bolton St Catherine’s Academy we understand the best way for young people to achieve success is by school and home working closely together. As part of this, we hold Progress Evenings where your child’s subject teachers are available for you to talk to and discuss the progress they have been making since starting their journey at BSCA.
To maximise the impact of the evening, we ask parents/carers to think about the following discussion points for each appointment:
- How is your child’s attitude to learning?
- What is their target grade?
- Is my child on target to achieve their potential?
- What can I do to support my child with their home learning?
You will also be able to speak to pastoral and attendance staff.
These evenings are generally on a Thursday evening between 4.00pm – 6.30pm and we invite parents/carers and students. We will send you a letter closer to the time via your child and via email/Edulink.
