PLEASE NOTE:
Statutory Opening Times for Schools: The government has announced that from September 2023 all schools need to be opening for students for a minimum of 32.5 hours a week.
Currently both as primary and secondary phases, we are 30 minutes short of this target. I will be putting out a formal consultation with you as parents and carers on our proposals on how we are going to fill the deficit.
In short, the proposals are for primary for students to start at 8.45am, and for secondary students to start at 8.24am, and to finish at 2.30pm on a Wednesday.
I will be sending out a questionnaire detailing our proposals and giving you an opportunity to voice your opinions about this as well. This will come out via a separate document for you.
