We have different entrances for students in different phases of the school:
- Nursery and Primary (start and end of the day only) - Greenroyd Avenue, BL2 5DP.
- Secondary (start and end of the day) - Newby Road, BL2 5JH.
Cycle - For students who choose to cycle, we have plenty of bike storage, but please provide your own lock.
Bus – For students who will catch a bus you can use - 911, 561 or 562 from Tonge Moor and 507 from Harwood. Please note that you will need to check bus times with TfGM, as at the time of publication changing were being made to the 561 and 562 timetables as the service is being reduced.

Please see the next section for information about concessionary fares you can get with the igo bus pass.
When students are wearing Academy uniform on public transport they represent Bolton St Catherine’s Academy. Students need to set a good example and behave well.
Whichever method you choose, you need to remember to use the entrance off Newby Road at the rear/top of the building and NOT the Stitch-Mi-Lane front entrance.
