On Thursday 5th December, the Year 11 GCSE drama class went to The Lowry Theatre in Manchester to watch Peter Pan Goes Wrong; a production by Mischief theatre following their multi award-winning success with The Play That Goes Wrong and The Comedy About A Bank Robbery.
It was thoroughly enjoyed by all, a highly amusing and fast paced performance. Some of the students said “I laughed all the way through” and “it was brilliant!”. One student, in true drama style adopted the role of Simon Cowell while giving her feedback: “I didn’t like it… I loved it!” .
Miss Kirkman, their Drama teacher, said the students were extremely mature and respectable throughout the trip. The production will provide the students with plenty content to be able to write a theatre review in preparation for their written exam.
