Primary Safety Day - 8th November
Posted on 16th November, 2018
On Thursday 8th November, Year 1-6 took part in a whole school 'Safety Day' as part of our Personal Social and Health Education (PSHE) curriculum.
Throughout the day, children rotated around school taking part in various aspects of safety, including road safety, e-safety, water safety, stranger danger, bicycle safety, first aid and fire safety.
Children completed activities, took part in discussions and watched educational clips to reinforce the importance of safety and to provide the children with the safety knowledge they need.
As well as this, the children were visited by PC Williams from Greater Manchester Police who held a whole school assembly on how we can stay safe in our community. Children were given the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about the role of the police force.
The day was a huge success and brought safety to the forefront.
