Sixth For visit RBS in Manchester
As part of the Business Studies Course Mr Yeandle took the Year 12 and 13 students to visit Royal Bank of Scotland in Manchester. The day was designed to help deepen their understanding of the expectations companies have of their staff and the recruitment process.
The students set of from Bolton train station looking like young commuters in their business dress, walking from the station in Manchester to RBS.
They took part in specific tasks organised by the bank, each having the opportunity to work shadow a bank employee and finally had the opportunity to interview potential bank employees.
Coming back to Bolton, on the train, helped them focus as to what the life of a business commuter is really like.
