Out today -Superb A Level results

Students at Bolton St Catherine’s Academy were celebrating today with the publication of the A’ level results. With a pass rate of over 95% at A’ level, and an average grade of Distinction in the vocational subjects, the students at the Academy continued their hard earned record of 100% success at gaining a place at University. Director of Sixth form, Miss Eira Parry said “Once again our students have demonstrated their ability to shine. We wish them well, whether it’s at University, Apprenticeship or employment.”

Our students are already experiencing their new lives accepting places, paying deposits for accommodation and making sure their student loan is ready to go. Many will leave Bolton in September like Eloise Park who is off to Plymouth to study photography and Ceejay Smith is travelling to Teeside to study Computer Games and Programming. Others like Aiden Santley will travel to MMU to study Ancient and Medieval History and Jessica Pickering is off to Chester to study Community Policing and Criminal Investigation.

Wherever they go, whatever they study we wish them every success for the future. We must not forget those who choose to go straight to work or to a Modern Apprenticeship and wish them all the best too.
