PE Reward Visit to Manchester United

Mr Brady put his sporting skill and knowledge to the test to plan a totally inspirational reward for a number of students in Years 7, 10 and 12. He was so impressed with a group of Year 7 students who have taken part in at least one extra-curricular sporting activity every week since September, some of the Year 10 GCSE PE group who have gone above and beyond with their coursework so far this year and the Year 12’s for their effort to help out in extra-curricular clubs. They've coached/refereed in a range of sports, acting as positive role models for the younger students.

Mr Thomas was persuaded he would love to visit Manchester United at Old Trafford Manchester too to help support the group – wasn’t too difficult to get him to agree!

 The students...

- looked around the famous museum which is home to all of the trophies Manchester United have ever won, as well old kits/boots and other significant memorabilia admiring everything they saw.

 - tried on the actual kits and boots of many famous footballers!

 - had a stadium tour; visited both the home and away dressing rooms, sat in the dug outs – daydreaming it was match day!

Finally a trip to  the megastore to look at all the possible souvenirs that could be bought in the shop – a few items were bought as momentos of a truly inspirational and aspirational visit.
