General advice
You will be using your weekly timetable to structure your day using Microsoft Teams for live lessons, pre-recorded lessons, message board and assignments for all the learning information you need. You will need to also check your student emails in your Web Outlook throughout the day.
- Get up, get ready and have a healthy breakfast.
- Log on to your device at 8.15am.
- Log onto Microsoft Teams to check your correct lessons are in your timetable.
- Use the start of the day to check and set your daily work and check your student emails in Web Outlook.
- Be ready for RISE time at 8.30am sharp.
- Use Microsoft Teams for each period (including Form time) to find out what kind of lesson you will have and either join the lesson, or complete the set assignment/task.
- Make sure you take your break times as you normally would at break and lunch time.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Watch what you eat.
- Weather permitting get some fresh air outside, but safely adhering to COVID restrictions.
- Let your parents/carers know what you have been doing and ask them for support if you need it.
- Read for at least 20 minutes per day - this may be factored into Form time if there is sufficient time.
