Sixth Form School Day

The start of the school day: RISE TIME

'Rise Time' is new this year and is there to prepare the you for the school day ahead and it gives us an opportunity to spend more time together as a whole sixth form.

recognise excellent work being done by sixth formers and celebrate your achievements,inspire you to continue to produce excellent work and support you to do even betterengage you with a range of activities that supports their learninggo through key vocabulary appropriate to the sixth form studiesreassert the schools vision and valuesallow you to learn about aspects of life as you move beyond school and into employment or further study.

The PSHE period

We are also going to come together as a whole sixth form every Wednesday P5 for PSHE. This will include a range of activities, including preparing for work and university applications, as well as being the slot for guest speakers. If you have something you would like to be covered during this time then please let us know in the sixth form office.

Form time

You will also spend daily time with you tutor during for group activities and 1 to 1 mentoring. Your form tutor is your first point of call for advice and support and they have been selected for the role due to expertise and interest in post 16 education.
